Rep. French Hill of Arkansas has expressed his support for Rep. Rick Crawford, also from Arkansas, who has been appointed as the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). Rep. Hill will continue to serve as a member of this committee in the 119th Congress.
Hill commended Crawford's experience and leadership within the committee, particularly highlighting his work as CIA Subcommittee Chairman. "Rick Crawford is a longstanding member of the Committee who has distinguished himself with his leadership in countering America's adversaries and dedication to the men and women of the Intelligence Community," Hill stated. He added that under Crawford's chairmanship, he expects continued bipartisan efforts to oversee and ensure transparency and accountability within the Intelligence Community.
Additionally, Hill expressed gratitude for being reappointed by Speaker Johnson to serve on HPSCI. "I am honored that Speaker Johnson has reappointed me to the Committee for the 119th Congress," he said, emphasizing his commitment to leveraging his expertise in financial services and economic policy to safeguard national security.
