ARKANSAS GOVERNOR'S MANSION COMMISSION: Costs of Suspending Student Loan Payments and Canceling Debt

 It is fundamentally unfair to transfer $400 billion in arbitrary student loan forgiveness to the generations of Americans who took a different path and will now owe for others debt.

CBO estimates that the cost of outstanding student loans to the federal government will increase by about $400 billion because of an executive action canceling some debt.
