Three days later, on March 14, 2025, Hill commented on the situation of Jimmy Lai's imprisonment. He remarked that it was "Heartbreaking to hear Jimmy Lai’s son recount his father’s story." Highlighting Lai as a "peaceful champion of democracy and freedom," Hill called for Lai's immediate release from solitary confinement.

Later that day, Hill alerted residents of Arkansas' 2nd district about potential severe weather conditions. He advised them to stay informed by following local forecasts: "There is a possibility of severe weather in #AR02 this afternoon and evening."
