French Hill, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 2nd district since 2015, has recently shared his views on several key issues via social media. Hill, who succeeded Tim Griffin in Congress and is a Vanderbilt University graduate, expressed concerns about consumer rights, tax penalties for American hostages, and the achievements of Arkansas's Congressional Delegation.

On March 5th, 2025, French Hill criticized Rohit Chopra for actions he believes have negatively impacted consumers' financial autonomy. He stated: "Every customer I had at my company in the Mississippi Delta was a smart consumer of how to balance their capital and income needs for their family every month, and what Rohit Chopra did was take that privilege away from millions of people."

Later that day, Hill announced bipartisan legislation aimed at alleviating tax burdens on American hostages upon their return home. He emphasized: "After returning home, American hostages and wrongful detainees should not have to face penalties for taxes missed while held abroad." This legislative effort is in collaboration with Representative Dina Titus.

On March 6th, 2025, Hill celebrated a significant achievement for Arkansas’s Congressional Delegation. He remarked: "A historic milestone for Arkansas! Every member of Arkansas’s Congressional Delegation...holds a gavel in the 119th Congress." This development underscores the influence and leadership presence of Arkansan representatives in Congress.
