Sergeant Joshua Caudell, a member of the Arkansas Department of Corrections K9 search unit, was killed last February as he assisted in the search for a man suspected of shooting at Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies and a Maumelle Police Sergeant.
Mayor Caleb Norris has announced that the City of Maumelle will present a flag to Sergeant Caudell’s family during the regular Maumelle City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 6PM. Department of Corrections Secretary Joe Profiri and Division of Correction Director Dexter Payne will attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the Maumelle City Council Chambers at City Hall and is open to the public.
