The future is…now. Since 2009, the ATA’s 40 Under 40 council has been the driving force in cultivating new, young executives of member companies and acclimating them to the intricacies of the trucking world. This week, members of the council spent time with Sen. Bart Hester (R-Cave Springs), Senate Pro Tempore. Lobbyists Blake Eddins and Chris Caldwell spoke to the council about the current political climate and encouraged them to get involved with their local and state politics. After observing Senate and House proceedings, the group was able to take a tour of the Capitol.
