Hill, aged 66, has lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, all his life, and is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University.On April 12, 2025, Hill extended festive greetings, writing
"Wishing everyone in Arkansas and across the country a joyous and meaningful #Passover. May this season of freedom bring peace, renewal, and hope. Chag Sameach! #Passover #ChagSameach".The following day, April 13, Hill addressed the ongoing international tension concerning Russia, expressing dissatisfaction with President Putin's actions. Hill commented,
"On this Palm Sunday, war criminal Putin offers his latest 'negotiating' move toward peace. Sick." He further urged for stronger actions, emphasizing the need to impose sanctions and support Ukraine against Russian aggression.Hill also issued an important update to Arkansas residents on April 14 regarding tax filing extensions, due to recent adverse weather. He noted
"TAX FILING EXTENSION FOR ARKANSANS Following the devastating storms, tornadoes, and flooding that began April 2, both the IRS and the state have offered tax extensions." Tax returns and payments are now extended to November 3, 2025, covering all 75 counties.
French Hill is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Arkansas’ 2nd district. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Tim Griffin in 2015.
