Rep. French Hill of Arkansas's 2nd District issued a statement today in Washington, D.C., following the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.
Hill remarked, “I congratulate President Trump and Vice President Vance on being sworn in today. With President Trump being only the second American to win a non-consecutive second term as our president, accompanied by clean wins of the electoral college and popular vote, this is a historic moment for our nation." He emphasized the potential impact of this administration: "With it comes the immense opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of all Americans."
The congressman acknowledged the challenges ahead but expressed optimism about collaborative efforts: "We have much work to do, but I am confident that, by working together, we will rise to the historic challenge."
