Incoming House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill has announced Allison Behuniak as the new Policy Director of the committee. Hill, a Republican from Arkansas, shared this development today.
Behuniak brings nearly ten years of experience working in the U.S. House of Representatives, with half of that time spent on the House Financial Services Committee. Her most recent role was as the Digital Assets Subcommittee Staff Director, where she supported then-Subcommittee Chairman Hill's initiatives. She has also contributed to the Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets and worked with the Task Force on Financial Technology. Additionally, Behuniak managed financial services portfolios for former Representatives Trey Hollingsworth and Bruce Poliquin.
French Hill commented on their collaboration: "Allison and I have worked closely together for many years, including our critical work in driving forward policies for digital assets that will keep innovation in America while protecting consumers and investors. Allison has exceptional knowledge of not only financial services policy but the ins and outs of our Committee and Congress as a whole. I am delighted she will continue her service on the House Financial Services Committee as my Policy Director."
