Rep. French Hill has expressed his support for the American Relief Act, which was passed by the House and ensures government funding through March 14, 2025. In a statement released today, Hill emphasized the importance of this legislation in providing aid to farmers and disaster relief to states affected by recent storms.

"I supported the American Relief Act to provide critical aid to our nation’s farmers, deliver much-needed disaster relief to hard-hit states by the recent devastating storms, and fund our government while we finish our appropriations work," said Rep. Hill.

He also acknowledged key figures involved in the process: "I commend President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and House Leadership for their strong collaboration." Despite acknowledging that further work is necessary, Hill described the passage of the act as "a step in the right direction."

Hill highlighted that House Republicans have made progress on taxpayer priorities: "House Republicans delivered a win for the American taxpayers and took care of outstanding priorities so we can focus on President Trump’s agenda and hit the ground running together when he is sworn into office in January."
