Incoming House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill has welcomed the new Republican members appointed to the committee for the 119th Congress. Hill expressed optimism about the contributions these members will bring, stating, "Our committee stands at the forefront of improving the lives of each and every American. Together, we have the opportunity to strengthen our nation’s future and create a new era of American prosperity shared by all citizens. I look forward to working with our new members in the years ahead and welcome their ideas and insights."
The newly appointed Republican members include Rep. Lisa McClain from Michigan's 9th district, Rep. Maria Salazar from Florida's 27th district, and several representatives-elect: Troy Downing from Montana's 2nd district, Mike Haridopolos from Florida's 8th district, Tim Moore from North Carolina's 14th district, and Marlin Stutzman from Indiana's 3rd district.
The appointments were made by the House Republican Steering Committee as part of preparations for the upcoming congressional session.
