On December 4, 2024, French Hill expressed his support for Paul Atkins following his nomination as the next Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Hill stated: "Congrats to Paul Atkins on his nomination to be our next @SECGov Chair. I look forward to Paul returning sanity back to the agency and working with him and @realDonaldTrump on bolstering innovation in America."

Later that day, Hill highlighted a meeting with Türkiye’s ambassador Sedat Önal. He discussed various regional issues including conflicts and Iran's influence.
