French Hill, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas' 2nd district since 2015, has recently expressed concerns through a series of tweets regarding various regulatory and political issues. Hill's comments highlight his perspectives on international regulations, domestic financial policies, and the treatment of cryptocurrency businesses.

On December 3, 2024, French Hill addressed the potential impact of the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) on U.S. markets. He stated that "The EU's CSDDD will impose ESG regulations far beyond European borders, threatening the competitiveness of US markets and jeopardizing our sovereignty." Hill criticized the Biden-Harris administration for not addressing these impacts adequately.

On December 4, 2024, Hill discussed plans under a potential GOP trifecta to counteract Operation Choke Point 2.0. He emphasized that "With a GOP trifecta next year, we will be able to halt, reverse, and investigate Operation Choke Point 2.0." Hill stressed the importance of allowing legal businesses to operate without undue restrictions from financial institutions.

Later on December 4, 2024, Hill highlighted concerns about the debanking of cryptocurrency businesses. He argued that "Legal business like @Anchorage should not be politically targeted and debanked simply because they are 'in the business of crypto.'" This statement underscores his stance against what he perceives as unfair targeting based on industry type.
