French Hill, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas' 2nd district, recently shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets. These statements cover topics such as regulatory practices by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), political agendas within regulatory bodies, and discussions on hostage response strategies.

On November 20, 2024, French Hill expressed concerns about Operation Choke Point 2.0, claiming that "@FDICgov politically targeted American business and pressured banks to sever ties with entire industries like crypto." He emphasized that the next Congress, in collaboration with former President Donald Trump, is prepared to address and reverse these actions.

Later the same day, Hill highlighted an issue regarding the FDIC's leadership. He noted that "Six months after announcing his intent to resign, Chair Gruenberg remains at @FDICgov and continues to push a politicized regulatory agenda." Hill mentioned sending a letter demanding an immediate cessation of all rulemaking activities by the FDIC.

In another tweet from November 20, 2024, Hill expressed gratitude towards the McCain Institute for allowing him and Representative Haley Stevens to discuss improvements in hostage enterprise response. He stated: "Thanks to @McCainInstitute for providing @RepHaleyStevens and me an opportunity today to address their forum on improving our hostage enterprise response."
