On April 9, 2024, in Washington, U.S. Senator John Boozman, the ranking member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, expressed his support for the Federal Agriculture Risk Management Enhancement and Resilience (FARMER) Act. Boozman joined his colleagues on the Senate floor to commend Senator John Hoeven for introducing the bill aimed at improving crop insurance affordability and enhancing the Supplemental Coverage Option.
