French Hill, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas' 2nd district, has recently shared a series of tweets highlighting key events and personal achievements. These posts cover a tribute to a significant historical figure, his new leadership role in the Financial Committee, and an acknowledgment of the National Guard's history.

On December 11, 2024, French Hill tweeted about "@HouseForeignGOP Ranking Member @RepGregoryMeeks pays tribute to Chair @RepMcCaul on the occasion of naming the Committee room for our great diplomat from our among our founders, Benjamin Franklin." This post highlights the recognition of Benjamin Franklin's contributions by dedicating a committee room in his honor.

In another tweet dated December 12, 2024, Hill expressed gratitude towards his colleagues: "I am humbled that my colleagues have placed their trust in me to lead @FinancialCmte as their next Chairman. It was a privilege to join my exceptional colleagues, @RepAndyBarr, @RepHuizenga, and @RepFrankLucas, in sharing our visions for this committee." This message marks his appointment as Chairman of the Financial Committee.

On December 13, 2024, Hill commemorated an important milestone for the National Guard with these words: "388 years ago, the first militia regiments in North America were organized in Massachusetts, starting what would ultimately become the National Guard. Since 1636, the Guard has answered the call, whether in times of crisis or times of peace. Thank you to our guardsmen and women…" His tweet reflects appreciation for those who have served since its inception.
