Rep. French Hill of Arkansas has been elected as the next Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee by the Steering Committee. Following his election, Rep. Hill expressed gratitude towards his colleagues for their trust and confidence in his leadership abilities.
"I am humbled that my colleagues have placed their trust in me to lead the House Financial Services Committee as their next Chairman," said Rep. Hill. He acknowledged the privilege of working alongside other representatives such as Andy Barr, Bill Huizenga, and Frank Lucas while sharing visions for the committee's future.
Hill also emphasized collaboration with key figures in Congress and the administration. "I look forward to working alongside Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Majority Whip Tom Emmer, House Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain, and our whole leadership team," he stated. The congressman highlighted plans to work closely with President Trump and Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott to implement economic policies aimed at fostering American prosperity.
