58 coaches at institutions in Pulaski County earned $96,115 on average in 2022

Pulaski County’s 58 coaches earned an average salary of $96,115 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the second highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Arkansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Pulaski County is home to three post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, University of Arkansas at Little Rock stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $145,663.

Male coaches of men's teams received $85,638 on average in Pulaski County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $68,732.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
