Arkansas Wing has been on Capitol Hill this week. Col Allison, Arkansas Wing Commander, was accompanied by a group of officers and cadets representing the Arkansas Wing for National Legislative Day (NLD). NLD occurs in late February/early March when wings send representatives to Washington, D.C. to advocate for CAP with federally elected officials. It provides CAP an opportunity to talk one-on-one with Congressional representatives and staff about operations and programs at the state and national levels as well as organizational funding.

Accompanying Col Allison in delivering the report to Congress was Lt Col Marchelle Jones, Capt Kyle Lutgen, 1st Lt Heidi Thompson, C/Lt Col Madeleine Thompson, C/Lt Col Robert Lutgen and Cadet 1st Lt Joshua Probus.
