City of Maumelle issued the following announcement on June 1.
After 32 years of service and dedication to our community, today we thank Cpt. Jim Hansard for his career with the Maumelle Police Dept . Cpt. Jim Hansard applied for a position in September of 1990 with the Maumelle Department of Public Safety and was hired as a D.P.S. officer. Since then, he has been an integral part of the team and we appreciate his tremendous impact in our city.
