City of Maumelle issued the following announcement on Mar. 12.
Gordon is the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation and the Mayor’s Employee of the Month for December 2021.
He has been a tremendous asset to the City for 30 years, starting as a Rec Aide and working his way up through the ranks.
Mr. Borst is skillful and creative in several ways, including preparing for holiday events and parades, like the construction of the Haunted House at the Community Center each Halloween and the Santa Claus sleigh and reindeer float for the Christmas Parade. He is reliable, loyal, has a strong work ethic, and inspires teamwork. We are thankful to have him a part of the City’s team!
