Arkansas Trucking Association, Inc. Governmental Affairs issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
The closing of the I-40 bridge connecting West Memphis, Ark. and Memphis, Tenn. last year brought traffic to a standstill, impacting commerce between the east and west coasts for months. The disruption was so significant that the I-40/I-55 intersection has landed its first top 100 spot on ATRI's annual list of truck bottlenecks. Talk Business & Politics-Statewide
