Arkansas Surgical Hospital issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
We are excited to announce Emily Cobb, RN, as the new Director of Patient Care Services at Arkansas Surgical Hospital. In this new role, Emily will manage, coordinate and evaluate nursing services within several departments including Pain Management, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), the Patient Care Unit (PCU) and the Emergency Department.
Emily has served in a variety of roles in her eight years at ASH. Most recently, Emily led the Interventional Pain Department and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and was instrumental in helping grow both departments.
Emily attended nursing school at UAMS and worked in the ICU there before coming to Arkansas Surgical Hospital where she started in PACU and became coordinator in 2016.
Emily lives with her husband, Heath, and their two children, Xander (6) and Blakely in Conway, Arkansas.
