ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION: Repairs To A Railroad Crossing Mean Temporary Closure Near Thornton

Arkansas Department of Transportation - State Highway Commission issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

Repairs to a railroad crossing on Highway 167 require a temporary highway closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, Union Pacific crews will close Highway 167 just east of Highway 79-4A in Thornton from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. October 9 & 10. Traffic will follow detour signage.
