ARKANSAS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION: Tourism, economic development leaders partner to recruit return to Arkansas

Welcome

Arkansas Economic Development Commission issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.

The future of Arkansas’ economy is looking bright.

“But with the economy now roaring back or attempting to roar back, we’re going to be in a position to win a lot of projects,” Mike Preston, Arkansas Secretary of Commerce and AEDC Executive Director, said.

While COVID-19 has impacted tourism and travel as well as business expansion, Arkansas is pushing forward to remain open and ready for business. Tourism and economic officials in Arkansas have spent many years trying to convince people to work, live and play in Arkansas.
