Shorter College enrolls 569 undergrads

At Shorter College, 80 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 54 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in N Little Rock enrolled 569 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arkansas.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (57 percent) and white (38 percent).
