The facility provided 140 beds—26 more than the county average at the start of 2026—with an average of 98.5 residents cared for in that period.
The Blossoms at North Little Rock Rehab & Nursing earned an overall rating of 4 out of 5 from the CMS, surpassing the state nursing home average of 3.4 in Arkansas.
Within the same period, The Blossoms at Midtown Rehab & Nursing Center had the highest bed count in Pulaski County, offering 154 beds, while The Blossoms at Breckenridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was second with 143 beds.
No incidents of fines or penalties were registered for The Blossoms at North Little Rock Rehab & Nursing as of the first quarter of 2026.
Altogether, 21 for-profit nursing homes operated in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
U.S. Census Bureau estimates show that America’s older adult population keeps expanding as younger age groups decrease. The age 65 and older demographic grew by 13% from 2020 to 2024 as the under-18 population dropped by 1.7%. Over the last century, the country’s older adult population has increased substantially, climbing from 4.9 million in 1920 to more than 61 million by 2024.
A 2021 study indicates that almost half of individuals in this group, about 28 million, could require long-term support and services. The study also estimates that more than one-third may eventually need nursing home care.
“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, an insurance education group. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
