Because of continuing inclement winter weather, UAMS is extending the implementation of its inclement weather policies for its main campus in Little Rock through Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Non-critical campus areas are closed. UAMS will notify employees and students when those areas are reopened or if decisions are made to further extend or to lift the inclement weather declaration.

Clinical Programs are operating according to the Medical Center inclement weather policy, but clinic patients should call in advance of their appointments to confirm that the clinic at which they are scheduled is open

UAMS campuses or facilities outside of the Little Rock area have their own protocol regarding activation of this policy. For sites outside of Central Arkansas, please check with your supervisor. Please watch for email announcements, texts on the Rave System, our web site, social media and local TV and radio for more information on the Little Rock campus.

Shuttle buses will not be running. Gates on all employee parking decks are up and will remain up for employee parking during inclement weather. https://news.uams.edu/2023/01/30/inclement-weather-alert/
