Melonay York a Charge Nurse on our Patient Care Unit has been recognized with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses! Here's what a coworker had to say about Melonay:
"Recently I became ill with very bad vertigo. My coworker called down to have someone look at me. I was nauseated and had lost color in my face. Dr. Parks came down and wheeled me down to the ER. Melonay swooped me up and stayed with me until I felt better. I felt calm and positive knowing that she was very knowledgeable of my condition and got me feeling better and headed home.
Melonay always goes above and beyond. I have worked with her for years and she is always professional and attentive to all her patients." She is consistently an exceptional nurse."
