The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences enrolls 606 undergrads

At the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, 50 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Little Rock enrolled 2,758 students in fall 2018, including 606 in undergraduate and 2,152 in graduate programs, data shows. 48.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).
