U.S. Senator John Boozman, who represents Arkansas and chairs the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, recently shared updates on national security, law enforcement appreciation, and infrastructure progress in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On January 8, 2026, Boozman addressed recent military action targeting Venezuela’s leader: “I supported Operation Absolute Resolve and the effort to hold Nicolas Maduro, a federally indicted narco-terrorist on whom even the Biden administration had placed a $25 million bounty, accountable. While that incredibly successful action was limited in scope, it would be unwise”.

The following day, January 9, Boozman acknowledged the work of law enforcement officers: “Our law enforcement officers put service above self to protect our communities. I’m grateful for their commitment to public safety and for the families who stand behind them. Their dedication and sacrifice to Arkansas must never go unnoticed.”

Later that day, he highlighted developments in state transportation infrastructure: “Excited to spot recent progress on the construction of I-49 between Alma and Barling as I’ve long championed completion of the interstate to connect regions within Arkansas and beyond. It was an honor to secure vital funds for this project and we’re excited for travelers, our”.

Senator Boozman serves as Arkansas’s senior U.S. Senator and leads its congressional delegation. He holds positions on several committees including Appropriations; Veterans’ Affairs; Environment and Public Works; and Rules and Administration (official website).
