Senator John Boozman, a Republican representing Arkansas in the U.S. Senate, recently addressed several issues on his official X account.

On October 6, 2025, Boozman emphasized Congress’s fiscal responsibilities and criticized Senate Democrats’ approach to government funding. He wrote: “One of Congress’s most critical functions is the “power of the purse.” Senate Democrats have a responsibility to support a clean, bipartisan CR instead of their own liberal agenda. Later that day, Boozman expressed gratitude to members of the Arkansas National Guard who were being deployed to the border. In his post dated October 6, 2025, he stated: “Thank you to our @ArkansasGuard members heading to the border on deployment.  May God bless and protect you on this vital mission to maintain operational control, security and promote safety for all Americans.”

On October 7, 2025, Boozman commented on violence in Israel following an attack by Hamas. He posted: “The Oct. 7th attack on innocent Israelis was barbaric and a reminder that Hamas is dedicated to terror and the destruction of the Jewish State. Today, we solemnly remember and honor the victims and reaffirm our steadfast support for Israel, including its safety and security.”

Senator Boozman has served Arkansas in the U.S. Senate since 2011 after previously representing Arkansas’s Third Congressional District in the House of Representatives.
