U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman John Boozman has announced a timeline for the committee’s consideration of crypto market structure legislation. The legislative text is scheduled to be released by close of business on Wednesday, January 21. A committee markup will follow on Tuesday, January 27 at 3 p.m.
“This schedule ensures transparency and allows for thorough review as the committee moves forward with legislation to provide clarity and certainty for crypto markets. I’m grateful to Senator Booker, who continues to be a great partner, as well as our to staff for their hard work and dedication to create new rules to protect consumers while also supporting American innovation,” Boozman said.
