Rep. French Hill announced on May 1 that Savannah Berryman, his Director of Operations, has received the 2026 Operational Excellence Award from the Women’s Congressional Staff Association.
The award honors a scheduler or operations professional whose work is vital to a congressional office’s effectiveness. Berryman was nominated by fellow staffers for her leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to serving Arkansas’s Second Congressional District.
Hill said, “Savannah is the backbone of this office. She ensures that central Arkansans have every opportunity to meet with my team and me, and she keeps my days on schedule, all while making sure the office runs smoothly. This award is well-earned. I couldn’t be prouder of her, and I’m deeply grateful to have such an outstanding performer on my team.”
Berryman has worked in Hill’s office for nearly three years. The award was presented at the WCSA Awards Celebration on April 17, where she was recognized along with other notable Capitol Hill staff members.
The Women’s Congressional Staff Association describes itself as a bipartisan group focused on supporting women staffers’ professional development across Capitol Hill offices regardless of party or background.
French Hill currently serves in Congress representing Arkansas’ 2nd district after replacing Tim Griffin in 2015 according to Wikipedia.
