On Saturday, May 17, former Maumelle High School standout Ryan Mesaris’ current collegiate team the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils won 5-11 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 4 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the tournament.

The Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 12 p.m. at ISG Field.
