Pulaski County residents contacting the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator John Boozman may now interact with a local addition to his staff. Little Rock native Rosh Ranaraja has joined Boozman’s team as a staff assistant.
“I am honored to join Senator Boozman’s staff, where I can serve the community that raised me while contributing to the work that benefits Arkansans and Americans across the country,” Ranaraja said.
Senator Boozman highlighted Ranaraja’s background and commitment, stating, “Rosh brings a strong record of public service and a deep commitment to Arkansas. His experience and enthusiasm will be a great asset to our team as we continue delivering responsive, effective constituent services.”
Ranaraja is a graduate of Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock and completed his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College in 2025 with degrees in political science and economics. Before joining Boozman’s office, he held internships with Congressman French Hill (AR-02), the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.
In his new position, Ranaraja is responsible for answering questions from Arkansans about pending legislation and floor activity in Congress. He also organizes tours of Washington sites for constituents and processes requests for U.S. flags flown over the Capitol.
He is the son of Rohan and Shara Ranaraja.
