Little Rock men’s golf received five selections to the All-Ohio Valley Conference teams, according to an April 25 announcement. Sophomore Ed Featherstone led the group with a first-team honor following his standout season.
The recognition highlights Little Rock’s strong performance during the 2025-26 season and reinforces its status as a leading program in the conference. The Trojans’ achievements come as they prepare for postseason play, including defending their conference title at the upcoming OVC Championship in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Featherstone was joined on the All-OVC First Team by teammates Rhett South and freshman Viggo Talasmaki. Mark Stockdale earned spots on both the All-OVC First Team and All-Newcomer Team, while Elliott Simonsen was named to the All-OVC Second Team and also made the All-Newcomer Team.
“Really pleased for the guys to be recognized for their performances this season,” Little Rock head coach Austin Eoff said. “Obviously, Ed has had a breakout season, but it is great to see Mark, Rhett, Elliott and Viggo be recognized for their performances as well.”
Featherstone commented on maintaining focus despite individual honors: “It’s a great honor to be recognized, but for us it’s all about what we do this week,” Featherstone said. “We’ve put ourselves in a good position, and now it’s about going out and finishing the job.”
Eoff added that while awards are appreciated, team goals remain paramount: “Awards and recognition are great, but we are here for the trophy at the end of the week, and our focus is set on that.” The Trojans will compete in the OVC Championship beginning Sunday.
