The Little Rock Trojans announced on April 28 that their scheduled baseball game against Arkansas State has been canceled because of forecasted severe weather. The game, which was set for Tuesday night in Jonesboro, will not be rescheduled.

The cancellation affects the ongoing rivalry between the two teams. They previously played earlier this season in Little Rock and are still expected to meet again on Tuesday, May 5 at Gary Hogan Field.

With this change, Little Rock is now preparing for its upcoming Ohio Valley Conference series against Morehead State. The series begins Friday, May 1 at 6 p.m., continues Saturday at 4 p.m., and concludes Sunday at 1 p.m., all games taking place at Gary Hogan Field.

Saturday’s matchup is designated as the Hometown Heroes Game, an event honoring military members and first responders. Up to four free tickets are available for those eligible. For further details about tickets or the event, individuals can contact the Little Rock ticket office by calling 501-916-5352.

Looking ahead, fans can expect updates regarding future games and events as the season progresses.
