On July 8, Senator Boozman reported on a commitment from the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. He stated, “@SecVetAffairs has committed to having the right people in the right places to take care of veterans.” He expressed that this development should provide reassurance to both veterans and the Department of Veterans Affairs’ workforce about prioritizing improvements in the delivery of care and benefits.

The following day, July 9, Boozman mentioned a meeting with Lewisville Mayor Ethan Dunbar regarding local water infrastructure. He tweeted, “Enjoyed visiting with Lewisville mayor Ethan Dunbar for an update on the Arkansas Watershed Project as well as water infrastructure needs in his community.” The senator looks forward to continued efforts to support these priorities.

Later on July 9, Boozman also welcomed leaders from Arkansas United Way to Washington. He acknowledged their contributions by stating, “It was great to welcome Arkansas United Way leaders to Washington this week and hear about the impact they’re making in our state.” He appreciated their efforts in serving and uplifting individuals and communities.
