On Friday, April 11, former Joe T. Robinson High School standouts Brett Gastman and Peyton Nelson’s current college team, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Mercer Bears.
