French Hill, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 2nd district since 2015, shared updates and reflections in a series of posts on his official Twitter account between August 5 and August 7, 2025.

On August 5, Hill visited the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s new Nursing and Science Center. He wrote, “Great tour of the new Nursing and Science Center at @UACCM in Morrilton! This 36,000 sq ft facility is a game changer for the school, potentially doubling nursing and STEM enrollment.

The following day, August 6, Hill commented on an incident involving military personnel at Fort Stewart. He stated, “Praying for the five soldiers wounded at Fort Stewart today. Grateful they are all in stable condition and I wish them a speedy and complete recovery. Thank you to the brave soldiers who immediately tackled the shooter and to the first responders and base personnel who quickly https://t.co/e7EqPBDH57”.

On August 7, in recognition of Purple Heart Day, Hill honored those wounded or killed while serving in the armed forces. He posted, “Today, on Purple Heart Day, we honor the brave men and women who were wounded or killed fighting for our freedoms and defending our nation. Their courage and sacrifice remind us of the cost of liberty and our duty to support those who serve in uniform. We are forever grateful. https://t.co/FqTS0RA0ZQ”.

Hill was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1956 and currently resides there. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975.
