French Hill, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 2nd district since 2015, posted a series of messages on his social media account highlighting recent legislative activity in Congress, expressing appreciation for law enforcement, and celebrating National Arkansas Day.

On January 9, 2026, Hill commented on congressional procedures: “This is how Congress should work, debating and passing spending bills instead of relying on last-minute continuing resolutions. These bipartisan bills protect key priorities, support Arkansas communities, and move us closer to fully funding the government for FY26.”

Later that day, in recognition of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Hill stated: “On this #LawEnforcementAppreciationDay, we thank the men and women who serve and protect our communities. Law enforcement officers show up every day with professionalism and courage, often facing difficult and dangerous situations to keep us safe. Here in central Arkansas, we’re”

On January 12, 2026, Hill marked National Arkansas Day with a message reflecting pride in his state: “Happy National Arkansas Day! From the Delta to the Ozarks to our capital city of Little Rock, our state is defined by hard work, strong communities, and a deep sense of pride in where we come from. Proud to represent central Arkansas and fight every day for the people who make”

Hill has served as a member of Congress since replacing Tim Griffin in 2015. He was born in Little Rock in 1956 and continues to reside there. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University.
