French Hill, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 2nd district since 2015, recently posted a series of congratulatory and reflective messages on his official social media account. The posts highlighted leadership appointments within congressional committees and caucuses, as well as the legislative progress of the Financial Services Committee.
On July 22, 2025, Hill commended Rep. Andrew Garbarino for his new role: “Congrats to @RepGarbarino on being chosen to chair the @HomelandGOP. Well-deserved. His experience in cybersecurity and his dedication to border security and infrastructure resiliency make him an excellent choice to lead this important committee.”
Later that day, Hill also acknowledged Rep. Mike Flood’s appointment: “Congrats to @USRepMikeFlood on being named Chairman of the @MainCaucus. Mike is a strong advocate for pragmatic, conservative solutions that put hardworking Americans and small businesses first. He’s an excellent choice to lead the caucus and build on the successes of”
On July 24, 2025, Hill reflected on the accomplishments of the Financial Services Committee: “I’m proud of the work of @FinancialCmte members so far this year. Our Committee has passed over 60 bills that lead to tailored regulations, faster economic growth, and more access to capital.

Hill has represented Arkansas’s 2nd District since succeeding Tim Griffin in 2015 and is currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born in Little Rock in 1956, he graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975.
