French Hill, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 2nd district since 2015, shared several posts on April 15, 2025, focusing on diverse subjects ranging from international violence to local industry accolades and discussions on technology and defense. Hill, a Little Rock native, graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1975 and has been active in various legislative efforts.

On April 15, Hill addressed the violence against Christians in Nigeria. According to Hill, “At least 40 Christians massacred in Nigeria. Sadly, this is nothing new. The 2025 USCIRF report confirms targeting and violence against Christians across the country. This ongoing persecution demands action.” Hill remarked that he had raised this issue during his visit to Nigeria last year.

In a separate tweet on the same day, Hill extended his congratulations to Caterpillar Inc. Celebrating the company’s milestone, Hill tweeted, “Congratulations to @CaterpillarInc on 100 years of innovation and impact! We’re proud to have your North Little Rock facilities driving manufacturing jobs and economic opportunity in central Arkansas.” He also commended J.A. Riggs, a family-owned CAT dealer, for their longstanding contributions.

Later on April 15, Hill shared his experience attending a discussion at the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, focusing on technological advancements. “Great morning with @ForgeInstitute at @LRChamber discussing defense tech & cybersecurity with Arkansas’s top innovators and entrepreneurs.” Hill expressed pride in supporting efforts to position Arkansas as a pivotal area for defense investments.

French Hill has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Arkansas’s 2nd District, since 2015.
