French Hill, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 2nd district, addressed recent political developments and shared personal reflections in a series of posts on his social media account.
On October 1, 2025, Hill criticized Senate Democrats for their handling of government funding negotiations. Later that day, Hill announced he would not accept his congressional salary during the federal government shutdown. Hill has represented Arkansas’s 2nd district in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Tim Griffin. Born in Little Rock in 1956 and currently residing there at age 66, Hill graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975.
