French Hill, U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’s 2nd district since 2015, posted a series of statements on his official social media account addressing recent international and national events.

On August 25, 2025, Hill commented on Ukraine’s Independence Day and the ongoing conflict with Russia. He stated, “Ukraine marked Independence Day on Sunday with pride and defiance, while Russia continued its shameful campaign of terror against civilians. The Ukrainian people continue to fight with remarkable courage and resolve in the face of relentless attacks. @POTUS is right to pursue”.

On August 26, 2025, Hill commemorated the anniversary of the Abbey Gate terrorist attack in Afghanistan: “Four years ago, 13 brave service members were killed in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack. Today, we honor these heroic men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. French Hill was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1956 and continues to reside there at age 66. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Before joining Congress by replacing Tim Griffin in 2015, he established roots within his home state’s political landscape.
