In a post from July 8 at 17:00 UTC, Hill expressed support for law enforcement officers following an incident involving a wounded officer. He stated, “Border Patrol officers and our ICE agents do the tough, vital work of upholding our laws and protecting our borders. My prayers are with the wounded officer and his family.” He emphasized that those who attack law enforcement should face justice.

Later that day at 22:30 UTC, Hill acknowledged the efforts of National Guard soldiers deployed to assist with flooding in Texas. He noted, “While we continue to pray for those impacted by the Texas flooding, Arkansans can be proud of the 22 National Guard soldiers deployed to assist with search and rescue.” Hill praised their skill and service as representative of Arkansas’ values.

French Hill was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1956 and currently resides there. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
