French Hill addresses Arkansans’ concerns over storms and stablecoin legislation

French Hill, a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas’ 2nd district since 2015, has been actively engaging with his constituents through social media. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1956, Hill graduated from Vanderbilt University and currently resides in his hometown. His recent tweets cover a range of topics including severe weather impacts, legislative initiatives on stablecoins, and National Agriculture Day.

On March 15, 2025, French Hill expressed his concern for the residents of Arkansas affected by recent severe storms. He shared his thoughts on Twitter: “Praying for all our fellow Arkansans who were affected by the severe storms across our state last night.”

Two days later, on March 17, 2025, Hill discussed legislative progress regarding a dollar-backed stablecoin. He tweeted about the efforts made both in the House and Senate: “We’ve outlined a legislative path forward for a dollar-backed #stablecoin both in the House where we’ve posted legislation and held a hearing, and in the Senate where @BankingGOP advanced their bill forward last week.” He encouraged followers to watch more on this topic via @MorningsMaria.

On March 18, 2025, Hill acknowledged National Agriculture Day by recognizing the contributions of farmers and producers. He tweeted: “Happy National Agriculture Day! Today, we recognize the hard work of our farmers, ranchers, and producers in Arkansas and across the country.” He thanked them for their efforts to feed communities nationwide.
