FOIA Request to University of Arkansas Grantham Regarding Chinese National Students on June 3, 2025.

As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability in governmental affairs, we at the Pulaski Times have submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the University of Arkansas Grantham. This request seeks detailed information about Chinese National students currently enrolled at the university.

Our inquiry specifically requests documents or lists identifying all current students who are Chinese Nationals, including their respective departments of study. In cases where student names are protected, we have asked for a total count of these students broken down by department. Additionally, we seek information on scholarships awarded to these students, detailing the amount and source of each scholarship. Particular attention is given to any scholarships affiliated with the Chinese Scholarship Council.

Furthermore, we have requested access to any university policies or procedures related to monitoring students, including those who are Chinese Nationals, with respect to protecting intellectual property and other confidential information.

This request is made in collaboration with The Coalition Opposing Governmental Secrecy, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting transparency through leveraging Freedom of Information and Sunshine Laws. As members of the media committed to providing comprehensive news coverage and holding public institutions accountable, we believe this information is vital for public awareness and discourse.

We await a response from the University of Arkansas Grantham and will continue to update our readers as more information becomes available.
