On Saturday, April 5, former Joe T. Robinson High School standouts Brett Gastman and Peyton Nelson’s current college team, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Radford Highlanders.

The game took place at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
